Who We Are

We are a new parish with a long history. All Saints Parish came into existence December 1, 2013. The new parish community rests upon the footprint of four previous parishes: St. John the Baptist (est. 1824), St. Paul the Apostle (est. 1833), St. Joseph (est. 1841) and St. Martin (est. 1850). These four communities are now one parish with one finance and parish council, religious education and youth ministry program, school, ladies sodality, and priest. However, the church buildings of these former parishes (see below), are open and have Holy Mass and other devotions celebrated in them each weekend and throughout the week. The parish of All Saints is one, but is unique in that it has four places of worship.

We are first and foremost a place of worship. We take our call to “love the Lord our God with all our heart, mind and soul” seriously. We strive to celebrate the sacred rites of our Catholic Faith with devotion and attention. We also offer different devotions and opportunities of prayer outside of the sacraments to suit people’s various needs: the rosary, novenas, prayer services, adoration and blessings are to mention just a few. We hope you will soon realize All Saints is a place and refuge of God’s grace.

We are a place of worship, but we also strive to “love our neighbor as ourselves.” We hope you will feel loved and part of our community. As you come to know the people of All Saints, I hope and pray you will get involved in the various activities and gatherings God uses to unite us as a community. There is a long history of family and fellowship here in Dearborn County. Please know that you are welcome here. Introduce yourself and help us to get to know you. Please get involved.
